On arrival: A single fan oven that hadn't been deep cleaned in a long time. Baked-on deposits across the base and back wall, heavy carbon build-up on both racks, and door glass so clouded with grease that the interior light barely showed through.

What we did: The racks and inner door glass were removed and treated separately, while the interior, fan cover, side rails and door seals were cleaned by hand. Everything was refitted, the glass polished, and the exterior and controls wiped down.

Result: Clear door glass, bare metal on the racks, and an interior back to its original enamel finish — ready to use the same day.

On arrival: Limescale across the screen and glass, a grey film settled into the tray, and residue built up along the door track and frame — the kind of build-up hard water leaves behind over months.

What we did: The screen, glass, tray, fittings and track were descaled and worked through by hand, the tiles and grout cleaned, then every surface rinsed and dried so no fresh water marks were left as it dried.

Result: Clear glass, a white tray, and clean edges where the build-up had gathered.

On arrival: A light bedroom carpet with darkened patches through the main walkway and general soiling across the floor, heaviest towards the doorway where the traffic concentrates.

What we did: Vacuumed thoroughly to lift the loose soil, treated the marked areas directly, then cleaned the full floor and groomed the pile so it dried evenly.

Result: An even colour across the room, with the marking near the door lifted.

On arrival: A double mattress showing general yellowing and patchy discolouration across the sleeping surface, heavier towards the foot of the bed.

What we did: The surface and seams were vacuumed, the discoloured areas treated and worked through, then the mattress was left to dry fully before the bed was remade.

Result: An even, lighter surface across the whole mattress.
